20:3. അവന്‍ അതിലെ ജനത്തെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഈര്‍ച്ചവാളിന്നും മെതിവണ്ടിക്കും കോടാലിക്കും ആക്കി; ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് അമ്മോന്യരുടെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നെ ദാവീദും സകലജനവും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.

20:3. He removed the city's residents and made them do hard labor with saws, iron picks, and axes. This was his policy with all the Ammonite cities. Then David and all the army returned to Jerusalem.

20:3. He also made slaves of the people of Rabbah and forced them to labor with saws, iron picks, and iron axes. That is how David dealt with the people of all the Ammonite towns. Then David and all the army returned to Jerusalem.

20:3. And he brought forth the people that were therein, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. And thus did David unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
